Welcome to MDD Community Gathering

Malmö Design Days 2027 is taking shape! What’s in store for next year’s festival? Join us for an evening of new connections and conversations about how we can shape the next edition of the festival together.

On 11 November, we bring together Malmö’s and the region’s design community for a joint kick-off ahead of Malmö Design Days 2027. We’ll start the evening with mingling and networking, followed by an introduction to our plans for the festival. We’ll explore this year’s theme, GIVE/TAKE, introduce different ways to participate and present this year’s festival centre. You’ll also learn more about how the new application process works.

Applications for Malmö Design Days 2027 are open from 2 November to 21 December.

MDD Community Gathering is an opportunity to get a preview of what’s ahead, meet others from the design industry and explore new collaborations ahead of Malmö Design Days 2027. We hope to see you there!
