MDD Talks

During Malmö Design Days, 19–22 May 2027, MDD Talks will take place at Form/Design Center. Through panel discussions and seminars, the program highlights current issues, new perspectives and ideas within design, architecture and urban development.

MDD Talks is a platform for knowledge exchange and discussion, where local and international professionals share experiences, explore new approaches and discuss how design can contribute to change.

Participate in MDD Talks

As a participant in Malmö Design Days, you can apply to host a panel discussion, seminar or workshop in front of a live audience at Form/Design Center.

Each program activity is limited to a maximum of 30 minutes unless otherwise agreed. To reach both national and international audiences, English is the primary language of MDD Talks unless otherwise stated.

Application and Selection

You can apply to participate in MDD Talks as part of your regular application to Malmö Design Days. The number of program slots is limited, and selection takes place separately from the general festival application process.

The application period runs from 2 November to 21 December 2026. Applicants will be notified of the outcome no later than 15 January 2027.

An additional fee applies for participation in MDD Talks, on top of the standard participation fee. Further information about fees and conditions can be found on the Festival Center page.
